OUR
HISTORY
At Casa de Mexico en Orlando we strive to make a positive impact.
In 1995, when the Consulate of Mexico opened its doors in Orlando, a greater presence of Mexico's rich traditions, culture and folklore was established in Central Florida. To honor these traditions, and support the Consulate's charitable initiatives, Casa de Mexico de la Florida Central, Inc. was created in 1997.
Through the years, Casa de Mexico has become known for organizing numerous annual cultural events to promote and celebrate Mexico’s vibrant presence in the Orlando community.
In addition to a full calendar of events, Casa de Mexico has provided strong charitable support to the area. Our primary focus is on assistance to Mexican farm workers and laborers in the area of health and education, particularly for women and children living in Central and Northern Florida.
OUR
MISSION
Casa de Mexico is a nonprofit organization founded to pursue fundraising activities, create relationships with other organizations and dedicate ourselves full time to cultural promotion and charitable giving. We strive to make a positive impact as we build strong associations with businesses and individuals in the Central Florida community.
Please contact us to learn more about how you can sponsor some of our many cultural and civic opportunities. As a sponsor of Casa De Mexico you can reach the Hispanic community and expand your marketing goals.
OUR
PROGRAMS
Casa de Mexico impacts thousands of Central Florida residents through our annual events. Each September, to celebrate Mexico’s Independence, we present a gala event considered one of the best in Orlando. Orlando has established a Cinco de Mayo tradition presided over by Mayor Buddy Dyer and the Consul of Mexico, Mr. Juan Sabines. The community is welcomed to this annual event, held at Orlando City Hall.
